Dr. David A. Bray has 14+ years leading enterprise collaboration projects, strategic responses to crises and emergency operations, business transformation and information technology efforts. He led the Center for Disease Control's Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Program’s technology response to 9/11, anthrax, West Nile, SARS, and other emergency events. He later served as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the MIT’s Center for Collective Intelligence and Harvard Kennedy School in 2008. David deployed to Afghanistan in 2009 as a Special Advisor to a Brigadier General for 120 days overseeing STRAT EFFECTS for NATO’s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and U.S. Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A); tasked to help Generals “think differently” on critical counter-insurgency issues in the region. He now serves a strategist and policy research with the Institute for Defense Analyses and a Visiting Associate with the National Defense University.
